Service Description

This course is designed to help cover many of the "special" classes in elementary school so you can focus on language arts and math at home. Class 1: Botany with Geography Travel the world with the Sassafras twins as our guide to learn Botany! Cover two subjects in one class. Each week students will learn one science concept in Botany along with its corresponding Geography. We will be following along with the Sassafras Science audio book which includes some aspects of reading comprehension. Work will be sent home for optional, additional learning. Class 2: Ancient History with Art Make ancient history come to life! Practice two subjects in one class. Each month we will study one History chapter and do one Art project in conjunction with the lesson. Over the course of the year, we will cover eight major civilizations with optional assignments given for further study at home. This class will meet for at least 18 sessions of class time plus optional field trips for both semesters of the 2021-2022 school year. A supply fee including an books, materials, and class t-shirts will be due the first day of class.
