The Perfect Schoolyear Ending

Here is a sweet email from a fellow homeschool Mom. Love these testimonies!

Hey Jessica, Jesus did the sweetest thing last night. Today was the last day of our first year of homeschooling. The thought came to me last night that I would like to do something special with the kids to celebrate the end of our first year. I asked Jesus to give me something that they would really enjoy doing today, and then I put the thought aside to get ready for our prayer meeting.

After the prayer meeting, the kids were getting ready for bed and Hope, my nine year old, said, "Thank you, Mama." I said, "For what?" She said, "I don't know, just for everything you do." Tears welled up in my eyes. Then a couple of minutes later, Hannah, my eight year old, came downstairs and said, "Mama, could we take you out for lunch tomorrow since it's the last day of school? We want to thank you for being our teacher?"

My heart overflowed with thankfulness, and I just cried. When I told them I had planned to take them out, they said they really didn't want me to do that. It touched me so much that Jesus had put it in my heart to pray about that before the meeting, and then he answered that prayer through the kids with something so sweet. Hannah said that during the prayer meeting, the thought came to her that she would like to buy my lunch today. 💗

Jesus has helped us all year, and this was such a sweet ending to it. Cris
